Firehouse Food

Firefighters are famous for their cooking. San Francisco is famous for its food. So, when our frequent collaborator, acclaimed San Francisco food stylist, and author, George Dolese, put those two ideas together and approached us about doing a San Francisco firefighters’ cookbook, we practically burst into flames. So did Chronicle books, who contracted us to package the book for them. Firehouse Food made The Good Cook top ten list, San Francisco Chronicle’s Bay Area bestsellers list and was featured extensively in national print media.
