The Frango Cookbook

Made popular by Marshall Field's department stores, Frango Chocolates have been a beloved Chicago tradition for more than three-quarters of a century. When Macy's acquired Field's and decided to introduce Frangos at Macy's stores nationwide, we proposed supporting the launch with a Frango cookbook, showcasing the history of the candies, with more than 40 fun, easy, recipes for everyday desserts, special-occasion showstoppers, creative homemade gifts and festive holiday entertaining ideas.

Client: Macy’s
Publisher: Book Kitchen
Role: Concept, Writing, Editorial Direction, Art Direction, Design, Project Management, Photoshoot Production, Print Management

“Frango chocolate fans and home cooks will find recipes for transforming the cherished truffles into delicious and heartwarming homemade treats like Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies and Frango Mint Chocolate Ice Cream Pie. The Frango cookbook is based on a simple idea: there’s more to Frango chocolates than just eating them straight out of the box.”
